Trust God Anyway

Recently, I was attending a lecture on Christian World Views. The main topic this particular evening was about Sociology.

The speaker was giving the Bible based view of family relationship, and how we should work on maintaining a healthy relationship with each other.

He presented the facts based in scripture that followed how things 'should' be, without taking into account that, there are people in the audience who have past failures with divorce.

The way it sounded to one individual was that, because he was married and divorced, there was no hope for him, that his attempts to follow after Christ now were futile, and he was wasting his time.

This caused a great deal of stress in this individuals heart and spirit, because he was not very secure in his knowledge of scripture.

I gave him this message, which I believe the Father's Holy Spirit gave me for him.

Trust God, He has an equitable solution, despite the trials, and temptations to fail. Don't listen to the Devil's lies. He tries to persuade you to stop trusting God, and to stop seeking His will through His Word with prayer.

Here is a group of Bible verses, I have used for several different themes. But they are proving to be of value to a great number of lines of thought, when it comes to various situations in life we find ourselves dealing with.

The Message Bible:
Jude 1: 20-23
Romans 8: 22-30 and 14: 17-23
1 Corinthians 14: 1-3 (esp, vs 2) "speaking to God in tongues privately" What I call the tool in the Christians tool-box of life, for maintenance of a healthy spiritual life.
